Isis will soon enter the studio to begin recording their next album with producer Matt Bayles (Botch, Mastodon). A tentative October release is being eyed, while the band plan to issue a new DVD by the summer's end.
New Meshuggah CD
According to their label Nuclear Blast, Meshuggah are currently in the studio working on their next album.
New 36 Crazyfist’s Song Online
36 Crazyfists' new track "I'll Go Until My Heart Stops" can now be heard online here. The song will appear on the impending "MTV2 Headbangers Ball: The Revenge" compilation, which is set for an April 11th release date through Roadrunner. Meanwhile, the groups new album "Rest Inside The Flames" is eyeing a tentative June 13th release date via Roadrunner.
Metallica Tribute from Kerrang
Samples from the Kerrang! backed 20th anniversary tribute to Metallica's "Master Of Puppets" have been posted online here. The outing, which is set to be included free with the #1102 issue of "Kerrang!", features covers of tracks from the aforementioned album done by the likes of Mastodon, Trivium, Chimaira, Machine Head and more.
